TargetWise International was founded in 2006 with the sole aim to assist businesses in their strategic management and international expansion goals.
TargetWise founder Iveta Kuijpers-Dimova has Masters degrees in both (marketing) management and international business. As a consultant at one of the top 10 consulting firms in the world, A.T. Kearney, she turned her knowledge and skills to match the best practices. In addition, as the appointed Area Director for leading translation organisations from the UK and USA for over 20 years, she has tapped into the knowledge and practices of the best language solutions organisations to bring them to blossom within the TargetWise full-service set-up.
Iveta finds that clients need a partner, who thinks along with their challenges to find the best solutions.
Iveta has driven projects in restructuring and international expansion to success, and based on vast international experience, her ambition is - together with her extended team - to help companies in their international communication and global branding strategies, to avoid ‘lost-in-translation’ disasters.

As mentioned in Wikipedia, the practice of branding - in the original literal sense of marking by burning - is thought to have begun with the ancient Egyptians, who are known to have engaged in livestock branding as early as 2,700 BCE.
The etymology of the word: The word "brand", originally meaning a burning piece of wood, comes from Middle English brand, meaning "torch", from Old English brand. It became to also mean the mark from burning with a branding iron.
